Background and Education

Kim Bald has more than thirty years’ experience in representing individuals and companies in complex litigation matters from pre-suit dispute resolution through discovery, depositions, mediation, trial and appeals. A substantial portion of Kim’s practice during the past twenty years has been in probate, trust and fiduciary litigation. Her extensive experience as a trial and appellate attorney has benefited individuals, corporations, personal representatives, trustees, trust companies, financial institutions, beneficiaries and guardians.

Kim earned her B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University and graduated with honors from Stetson University College of Law.

Kim attained the highest possible review rating based on legal ability and ethical standards, the prestigious AV Preeminent® from Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™. Since 2011, she has been listed as a Florida Super Lawyer and and has been recognized as a member of Florida Trend magazine’s ‘Florida Legal Elite’ for commercial litigation.

Kim served as President of the Manatee County Bar Association and was the elected representative of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit on the Board of Governors of the Florida Bar for four years. She is a member of the Executive Council of The Florida Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, and serves on the Section’s Trust Law and Probate and Trust Litigation Committees.
